Dans ce nouveau projet, j’ai évacué le sujet pour le remplacer par son habitat et ainsi à pris naissance Domus. Sorte de confrontation entre architecture et peinture où couleur et forme pure semblent relever d’un formalisme ludique et fantaisiste…Cependant le jeu de forme  et de couleur sans objet de représentation semble vouloir dominer.

Chaque petit tableau est un îlot de réflexion sur la création et sur ce qu’on peut construire dans un espace imaginaire et comment celui-ci relève d’un jeu interactif.

Les maisons dessinées ne sont pas ancrées au sol et en tombant dans l’espace évoquent la chute de nos constructions mentales et nous rappellent l’aspect transitoire des pensées et des choses.

Les neuf domus individuels sont peints à l'acrylique sur bois et papier et mesurent 30x35.5cm. Les cinq abstractio sont peints à l'acrylique sur bois et papier et mesurent 61x61cm. Les sketchs sont en graphite et acrylique sur papier et mesurent 30x35.5cm.

In this new project, man was replaced by his habitat and Domus was born. Sort of a confrontation between architecture and painting where form and color interact in a kind of playful formalism...where form and color without object tend to want to dominate.

Each little canvas is an island of creative reflection on what can be built in an imaginary space and how this space is created in an interactive play.

The houses are not anchored to the ground, and by falling in space resonate the fall of our mental constructions and remind us of the transitory aspect of thought and matter.

The nine individual domus paintings are in acrylic on wood and paper and measure 30x35.5cm. The five abstractio paintings are in acrylic on wood and paper and measure 61x61cm. The sketches are in graphite and acrylic on paper and measure 30x35.5cm. Click on photo to see title.
